PERSONALITY SUMMARY:

Markham is the absolute embodiment of childlike energy. He's chipper and upbeat, and always welcome to lend a helping hand to anyone who might need it, regardless of consequence.

Growing up in a small town has led him to be a bit of a dreamer. Once he learns about life outside of his small view of the world, he yearns to see as much as he can. He has intense trust in those around him, but is absolutely unsure of himself, who he is, or what he wants to do with his life. Because of this, he tends to be a bit recklessly naive, throwing his trust onto almost anyone he admires. He might even leave everything, at the drop of a hat ...

HISTORY

Markham grew up in a small, cozy town tucked away in a pine forest up north, just across the river from a recently developing city. Until it grows more though, his little cabin town is initially very isolated from most "modern" society. He grew up with his loving mother, but no father or siblings. Due to this, he is very sheltered, and despite his generally upbeat disposition, his younger years are spent being a bit of a homebody, never seeing much reason to leave the comfort of his home town.

He helps support his neighbors, and could make plenty of friends if he tried - but nothing outside his home really interested him too much to venture out all too much. He doesn't spend too much time thinking about anything outside of his few existing comforts, largely because he isn't aware there's too much out there to think about. At least, not yet!

His homebody life comes to halt as the beginnings of a big city life begin to work their way into his town's perimeters, bringing all new people, stories and experiences he'd never heard of before. The quiet town he once knew is slowly becoming more populated, and his few comforts are slowly becoming things of the past. As a result, he starts to become more of a dreamer, and wanders farther than he had before - taking in the sights while he still can, even if he doesn't quite know what to expect.
